Funny part is that the Republican party was formed to FREE the slaves (which the Democrats opposed). Martin Luther King was a Republican. And now they have their own 'Coffee Party" full of children of the rich and people (of all colors) are ready to fall at their feet. By the way, do you know the difference between the Republican and Democrat parties? Republicans are rich greedy company owners who never worked a day in their lives and Democrats are the children of the rich greedy company owners that are still rebelling against their rich greedy Republican parents. And until Mommy and Daddy stop taking care of them, they will continue to do so. The worse part about it is, the hard working Americans are the ones stuck in the middle because somebody has to work so the money can keep rolling in. Oh, that's right, Clinton (another poor little rich boy) sent all the good jobs overseas when he signed NAFTA so all the rich, greedy, company owners could pay kids 50 cents a day in sweat shops. (It's legal over there)

Republicans want want failure, they want things like the insurance companies to continue to rake in billions and to keep the unwealthy at a disadvantage. The infrastructures portion was what we needed to get us going in advancing our country to come into the present but the old conservatives who want to go back to the "simpler times" (ie. slavery, and racial discrimination via lower education). Our country and everyday people need help due to bad financial policy and they are just not getting it. Who is getting it? Big business. God bless America.

The problem with this country is BOTH the Democrats and Republicans. Anyone who seriously thinks that one side isn't corrupt or slaves to Corporate America hasn't done an adequate job of paying attention. To the Republicans: The GW administration will go down in History as one of the worst administrations. They eroded your constitutional rights, expanded the power of the wealthy elite, invaded countries under false pretenses, destroyed diplomatic relations with the rest of the world, and spent money like it was going out of style. To the Democrats: Obama is a dud. He promised much and has turned out to be another corporate lackey. He made deals with big pharma to ensure you could not get your medication cheaper elsewhere, he flip flopped on military tribunals, he refuses to fix health care properly through nationalization or single payer, he populates his inner circle with more Wall Street insiders, he spends money on bailouts and useless stimulus packages.

The VIOXX episode is worth reminding everyone of the dangers of tort. Yes, some got hurt - as some do with ANY drug - the system is set up such that Merck pulled that drug completely - so, the HUGE majority that did benefit are now without a good drug - On balance, the ratio of those hurt to those that won the tort lottery is HUGE - Worse, Merck (and other companies) will be reluctant to be aggressive in discovering/inventing new drugs because a small percentage may (MAY) be affected - while technology to screen those that may be affected are being developed, Obama's assault on the creative segments of this society and Obama's determination to strangle this economy will ensure that the future will remain bleak - Until such time when the moratorium on brains is lifted (i.e. when Obama cannot cause anymore damage), we will continue to suffer in many ways

Less is the new-fangled more? We are just starting to peek out of the economic depressional ditch and the brightness is ours for the looking. Companies that will certainly make it through are those at this point gathering momentum and moving forward with the new business mantra of the ages. We have seen that users are asking for more value and the cost-driven enhancements are becoming more and more difficult to support without disturbing the existing business design or profit margin assumptions. Innovation tends to come from upstarts (Netflix and Southwest Air are good examples) and non-traditionals (Microsoft in the music business!). Less is the new-fangled more and business ought to accept a new behavior and ways to reduce their pricing to the point that customers will seriously find it irresistible. They certainly need to supply designs of existing products and solutions and models (yes, even elliminating unneeded features) and the most effective way to advertise and promote your products in the marketplace. Contact Metwell.com, Strategic Management Consultants if you need more answers to quickly attain your greatest results

I say everyone take care of themselves and take responsibility for their own health. Read books, educate yourself. There is a big disconnect between people being responsible for their own health and thinking that doctors are god.

Absolutely too many people just go along with what any doctor will tell them.

When I turned 50 years old I went to the doctor for a physical and she said "Now that you are 50 we should put you on high blood pressure medicine, cholesterol medicine, blah, blah, blah. I told her, "No way. I am not sick." She said, "You are at an age when you'll need it." And that my folks.. is crap. I am will never need these money generated drugs.

So I say, be brave, be tough, get educated, learn about energy healing. Stop eating fruits and vegetables that are sprayed with pesticides and genetically engineered (which in itself is dangerous). Stop eating meat pumped with growth hormones. Stop eating farm raised seafood that has unregulated amounts of antibotics in it. You are making your own self sick. So stop and you won't have to worry so much about health care.

No other country worries about health care like the US... and you know why? Cause they aren't eating poison like we are.

What if we all canceled our health care insurance? What if the insurance companies had no one to insure.

I say do like the Amish do.... get your family together to pool a certain amount of money every month for the "Family Health Fund". If Uncle Bob breaks his arm... it get's paid for from the "Family Health Fund". If we start off with small families bonding together like this.. well you know what the insurance companies can do.

Here's to great health!
